Social Media Management Tools:
 
These social media management tools allow to hotels to manage all their social medias on one platform where they are gathered together. Moreover, they allow to provide a customer service for their guests to comment, follow and help their customers. Obviously, the hotels can post photos, videos, tweet and so on to interact about something on their social medias. Some of these social media mangement tools provide them statistics analysis to tell them which one is the most use, the number of followers and fans and other relevant statistics. The goal is to facilitate the use of all social medias that they own to maximize and improve the interaction with the guests.

These social media management tools are not free and depend to the package choosen. Indeed, they propose different package according to the function that you need for your company. Most of the time, the package are divided in three with a premium package which cost approximately 100$ with the basic functions. Then, you can choose the professional package which allow to have more functions, possibilities and analysis, ideal for small companies. The prices are between 150$ and 200$. And if you want to have the best and smart function of these social media management tools, there is the ultimate package often called "enterprise" which cost more than 200$ and can cost until 400 to 500$.

For my opinion, it is not necessary to use the both management platform because they are enough similar but mainly adequate according the kind and the size of your company. Indeed, the reputation management system is enough use by big companies which look for to target a certain social media and customers. The goal is to develop or improve an area of their service or product on the best social media or rather for the less exposed. However, I think the social media management tools is more interesting because it allows to manage several social medias at the same time and especially choose this one that you want. So, it is easier for a company to target some customers or identify a weakness and improve it. The big companies have normally more social medias than the independant hotels, that's why I will suggest them to use the social media management tools rather than reputation mangement system which is enough restrict against the reputation management system in terms of functions, usefulness and performance. Whereas, the independant hotels which are less exposed to the social media should have for goals to target more some social medias rather than to spread out on all the social medias available.
